If I am currently seeing a counsellor, psychologist or other medical health professional, should I stop if I want to try your work?
The natural energy healing methods and techniques I use can be used alongside any other therapy or programme – so continue with whatever treatment you are currently receiving.

Used on its own, this work is very gentle & profoundly healing  . . .  AND it supports and compliments other therapies – it is not an alternative type of healing, meaning you don’t have to choose one over the other.  Let your other health professionals know that you’re receiving energy healing so that they can better understand and support the changes in your health and wellbeing.  I’m happy to provide more information about my work and answer any questions they may have.

I think I’d like to undergo a healing session with Verna, but I’m just unsure if it’s for me.
If you’re new to this work, I offer a free initial telephone consultation.  During this time we’ll discuss your own personal circumstances and what it is that you feel you could use some help working with.  You’ll be given information relating to the session and will then be able to decide if you feel this work would best suit your needs.
What does it mean to “shut-down”, “hold onto” OR “trap” an emotion?
An easy way to explain this would be to say that when we’re in a heightened emotional state (feeling intense anger, sadness or fear for example) & we feel unable to express that emotion for some reason (an example of this might be a time when perhaps we believed that it was inappropriate to express a particular emotion, or maybe we were too shy to express it)  . . .  instead of the energy of the emotion being expressed & leaving our body in a healthy manner, we push that emotion down to prevent us from continuing to feel it  . . .  unknowingly storing the energy from that emotion somewhere in the cells of our body.
When you say “hooked by” an emotion.....What do you mean?
Being “hooked by” an emotion is a phrase used to describe the experience of an emotion repeatedly coming up for you over & over again.  You can’t seem to “shake it”, even if you distract yourself from it in some way; like thinking about something else, or making yourself busy—it continues to come up for you.  As if you’re “hooked” and can’t seem to get free of it.  We are human, so we’re going to experience emotions—that’s completely normal and perfectly natural —all sorts of emotions will be felt throughout your day.  However, if you seem to be constantly bothered by a particular negative emotion that keeps recurring, that’s what we call being “hooked” by an emotion.
Is there anything I have to do to prepare for a session?
Your commitment to moving forward in your life is very important to the success of the healing you’ll receive  . . .  & therefore the positive results you will begin to experience.

If you’re positive that you want to heal then we’ll make a wonderful & successful team in making that happen !

I always advise clients to come with an open mind & a willingness to let go of what may come up for them during their time with me.  There’s really nothing you need to do other than have an attitude of being happy to let go of energy that’s been burdening you and holding you back.

You really can rest easy  . . .  knowing that as I guide you, your session will unfold perfectly for you in the way that’s best for you.

The wonderful part is – you simply cannot “get it wrong”.

I’m a bit nervous—is that still okay?
I’m here to guide & support you in each and every healing session.  Remember that nervousness is simply an emotion  . . .  energy  . . .  and you know  . . .  ALL feelings are welcome here (even nervousness!).
How many sessions should I have?
Most of us have more than one thing we want to become free from and so that over time we would have more than just one session.  While you’ll definitely receive great results from just one session, further sessions will help fast-track your progress, propelling you forward in the direction you wish to go much more quickly.

The more we become free from negativity and the more balanced we are within ourselves, the easier our life becomes  . . .  helping us to attract more positivity and happiness into our lives.

For those clients who wish to experience the benefits of several consecutive sessions, my promotional offer exists to encourage them to do that.

Alternatively, if you feel that you’d just like one session, that’s perfectly fine too !

Ultimately, it really is about how YOU feel.

At the end of your session we’ll know if further work is indicated & if it is, you can then decide if you’d like to ahead.

What I love about this work is that each healing session is unique & different and you can apply the tools that you gain to your everyday life  . . .  so after you’ve experienced the feeling of freedom that a session brings, you’ll continue to use the tools to help you live life differently.
